Job details:

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for our Bangladesh office, for an experienced Merchandiser with overall in depth knowledge of quality, merchandising of KNITTED GARMENTS. You will be the link between the clients and the local factory.

We are seeking for a dynamic, hard-working professional with a sound education and professional experience along with a desire to work for a well established and solid organization. In addition to in depth knowledge about KNITTED GARMENTS, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude!

You should be taking the leading role in handling your garment orders with the best interest of the client. You should interact adequate and professional and avoid process flow becomes under pressure, you need to be able to see the gaps and be proactive to find solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing orders independently from development till shipment

• Responsible for correct flow of final approval of Technical- ,Pre-Production and Production samples, based on quality, outcome and fitting, and advise improvements when required

• Able to handle several numbers of orders/styles simultaneously and independently.

• Must have the ability to work under pressure to maintain buyer's deadline for both samples & production.

• Should have sound knowledge of knitted fabrics, accessories, trims, etc.

• Day to day follow-up & report to Senior Merchandiser or Account Manager

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years’ of experience as merchandiser

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Textile Engineering & Manufacturing

• Adequate understanding of fabric and different product materials, for knitted fabric, and excellent technical knowledge of knitted garment production.

• Self-directed, organized, results-oriented

• Good command of spoken and written English

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
